This activity provides a way to explore and display data that will best communicate a data story with the team using that data to make decisions in a standards-based education system (SBE).
Objective: Explore best practices in creating displays of data for a Decision Support Data System (DSDS) in a Standards-Based Education System so that data are clearly communicated to the teams and data are presented ethically.
Time: 60 minutes or more
Preparation
1. Schedule the leadership team to participate in this activity.
2. Provide electronic copies of the relevant Washington District and School Data Team Toolkit activity handout for each member.
